Eagels Nest

Und hier zu den Zeilen von Maria:

"I am having a very emotional time these past few days at our school. It is now the end of the working season and our people are not earning so much money anymore. We have noticed that more and more children are coming with empty backpacks to school. Some do not even have a backpack. This means that there is nothing (NO FOOD) for them to bring as a snack to school. My heart breaks in a million pieces when I see this. We as teachers now check the children’s bags before they eat their food they brought from home. I cannot watch a child looking for food and then their bag is empty anymore. This is my reason for writing you this email. If not for Magic Muffins these children would not have anything to eat during that time. I would like to thank you again from the bottom of my heart for providing us with the muffins. We can see the child who receives a muffin feels extra special because they are now eating something more nice then the other kidsJ

We also give them a muffin when they go home because we are not sure when or what they will eat at home.

I do not have the words to  express my gratitude and how I feel about what you are doing for us. All I can say is THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. You are helping us a lot and even with the building plans and what it is going to mean to have that building in the community. We are excited because we know we will have the freedom to do so much more for the children. Even if it is just by feeding them and keeping the bigger children of the streets during the day by keeping them busy with various activities.

We will never take your effort and everything you do for granted. We know that we also have a responsibility towards you and everyone that is making this possible. Our wish is never to let you regret your decision to help us. ....."
